Let's Make Our Kids' School Experience Awesome

We are committed to enhancing our children's educational journey at West Langley Elementary. Our goal is to create a learning environment that is engaging, supportive, and inspiring for all students. By working together as a dedicated community, we can ensure that our kids have an awesome school experience that sets them up for success both academically and personally. Let's collaborate to make this vision a reality.

Be Involved

PAC meetings are a great opportunity to hear directly from the principal about what is going on in our school. It is also a great place to hear about PAC initiatives, ask questions and share ideas.

PAC meetings are held once a month in the school library. Take a look at the calendar for our next meeting date. Come join us!

Volunteering is another great way to get involved in our school community! There are lots of options that require very little time commitment. Come out to a meeting to see what committees or events could use a hand. Or go to our Fundraising & Volunteer Opportunities page for event specific volunteer information.

Welcome to West Langley Elementary School! We are Walnut Grove’s best-kept secret, tucked away in a quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood, and enjoy a high level of learner and family engagement in all we do.

At West Langley, we strive to make sure all students find their place and voice, while succeeding in their own way. Our students learn to share their learning widely, whether with peers, staff or parents. This empowers them to see their value, their growth over time, and where they can go next.

Our community is a huge part of what makes West Langley such a special school. We have a number of parents now who were once students here, who remember playing on the playground and learning in our classes. Now, they help form a dedicated and hardworking PAC who support us in all our initiatives, and bring new ideas to the table as well. We are the ‘perfect’ size, with students playing together across grade levels and being “buddies” between classes. Our school supports families through the SHARE Society, and boasts a developing student leadership program that raises funds to support both local and global initiatives as well as sports and a comprehensive music program grades Kindergarten to Grade 7. We take joy in the wonder of the world around us, learn from our experiences and explorations, and share them with the world.

If you are joining us, welcome to the pride! Make sure to drop by the office for a visit, and be involved in the life of the school. And get ready to ROAR!
